Bonaire
|
Dates:
3/24/2007-3/31/2007
Description:
Bonaire is a tranquil, laid-back Dutch island in the southern Caribbean noted for marine conservation and some of the world's best scuba diving. Bonaire is said to be the Caribbean of twenty-years ago, with strictly protected park land and a charming capital with one main street. Bonaire is a diver's dream, and an ideal getaway for anyone in search of tranquility, both in and out of the water. The diving in Bonaire is consistently amazing -- gin like clarity, calm waters, and intense sunshine combine to accentuate the brilliant pinks, purples, and oranges of the sponges, corals, sea horses, and frogfish which abound along this tiny island's shore. Guests are encouraged to take full advantage of the hotel's 24 unlimited shore diving because one of the best dives is the reef 20 feet off shore in-front of the hotel -- especially at night. The Divi Flamingo Beach Resort - a colorful, casual resort painted in hues of blue, pink, and warm yellow - offers divers an ideal location for their dive vacation. The Divi has 2 pools, 2 restaurants, 2 bars and a casino and is only a 2 minute walk to some of the best restaurants in town. Bonaire truly does have it all. Join us this spring and you can ponder how happy you are to be diving in paradise as you relax sipping your favorite umbrella drink watching the sun slip into the sea.
